Small(ish) revelation

So here's a small revelation: cooking. I've enjoyed cooking, but wasn't active and consistent enough in it to say I was good or anything. I am good at following instructions, so, naturally, I've learned it's hard to mess stuff up when you follow instructions... Who would've thought! Anyway, I've hit a stride of home-cooked meals that make me feel good. The way my body wants to feel. The older I've gotten in vegetarianism, the more I've realized the power and medicinal effects of food. Food is here to nourish us, and as most things in our "technological evolution" we have lost the gratitude of simplicity and pureness. I am definitely guilty of that, and I'm becoming more aware. We mass produce something and it's great for convenience, however, overtime, the side effects of convenience start to make themselves known. So for now, I'm trying my best with this whole cook as many meals in your life thing. But practicing and reminding yourself why you do something tends to help the overall progress.
