Bottle Logic Brewery

I've been on a quest to try all the breweries in Orange County and I feel as though I'm doing a decent job at it thus far. However, smaller ones keep popping up and I feel like my quest may be getting longer than anticipated, that's fine. Beer forever.

Anyway, Ali wanted to try Bottle Logic in Anaheim. I had never heard of it but the name sounded appealing enough for me. It turns out it is a new brewery that began in 2013. It had a brewery meets restaurant feel to it, which was interesting because there was no food, yet it felt like there should have been. There was a food truck outside, which I can not remember the name of, but all I remember seeing was "WACHO"... waffle fry nachos... wut. We didn't try any because grease on grease on beer. But, I know it exists now, that's all that matters.

We went for our usuals, I always look for a porter or stout and Ali always goes for anything IPA if it's a double IPA the better. Whatever. Forget that. I tried the Leche Mole, a chocolate milk stout with a kick of spice. The spice was very subtle, but then felt at the end. I was unsure as to what it was at first until Ali tried it and yelled, dramatically, "I feel like I got stabbed in the throat." It wasn't that intense, but, you get the point. I think Ali got the "Double Actuator" which tasted like a... double IPA for me. I guess my taste buds aren't refined enough because I can't taste too much of difference with IPA's. All I know is that there are some I like and most I don't....

We proceeded to try a sampler and though, interesting, we realized that we would never want a pint of any of them. The menu concept was cool, there was a classic Asian style rice beer, "Hanamachi" which had the classic flavors of what one would expect from a rice beer. Another that tasted like grapefruit juice, that I believe was called "Hawaii 2.0". A super murky beer called "Anaheim" which I thought was the worst representation of the city you were founded.. It straight up tasted like murky water. Why. Just why.

Anyway, overall it was good, but I am such a fan of Bootlegger's and the Bruery that I can't say anything's my favorite unless I have an out of body experience like I did when I had those beers. I'm not an alcoholic, I'm just saying, that out of body experience was merely for dramatic effect...........

We will never take a normal photo. Also. He loves me, I think. I can't promise it, but maybe.
