In December, Ali & I took a little weekend trip to Palm Springs. Honestly, I had to see what was up with the hype. I grew up about 20 minutes outside of this area and I always remember my family referring to it as a place where people go when they've retired. Which is true...

There isn't much to say about this, it wasn't a spiritual or soul revival trip- it was just pure relaxation, which I was SO okay with. I think I would've understood the hype 5 or 6 years ago when I was in my animal collective trance speaking in smoke circles. But since I've mellowed out and transitioned into a new quest of learning, I've faded from that state of mind. Alas, here is a text-heavy, yet, not much to say post about Palm Springs....
